On Thursday, one of the most heated rivalries in the league kicks off another fantastic NFL Season when the Cowboys head to Lincoln Financial Field to take on the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles
- When: Thursday, September 4th. 8:20 p.m. ET
- NFL Week 1 Odds: Cowboys -295 / Eagles -385
The Boys traded All-Pro defensive end Micah Parsons last week. The trade upgrades the Cowboys’ defense from mediocre to one that might be among the worst in the NFL.
So we should expect Philly to take the lead in this one. Jalen Hurts is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. The man has a ring, and he dominated KC’s D in the Bowl. Hurts is in the same discussion with Allen, Lamar, and Burrow. All three of those QBs don’t have rings, while Jalen does. JH and Saquon dominated Big D’s defense.
2025 NFL 1 Pick: Eagles -7
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers
- When: Friday, September 5th. 8:00 p.m. ET
- NFL Week 1 Odds: Chiefs -175 / Chargers +144
The odds make zero sense. Sure, the Chiefs are the closest thing to a dynasty we’ve had since T Brady and the Patriots dominated the league. But let’s be real.
Kansas City is in the downturn of its dynasty cycle. The secondary is okay, while the offensive line was exposed versus the Eagles in the Lombardi Trophy game.
The Bolts have high expectations. Rashawn Slater is on IR, but rookie Joe Alt should be excellent at left tackle. Chargers’ rushing attack steals the show.
2025 NFL 1 Pick: Chargers +3
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New York Jets
- When: Sunday, September 7th. 1:00 p.m. ET
- NFL Week 1 Odds: Steelers -161 / Jets +135
This is Aaron Rodgers’ last season. So, how all-in is he going to be? Yes, DK Metcalf is on the squad, and the defense will be stellar, but this is a road matchup against a Jets team that has some talent.
Justin Fields is a solid quarterback when allowed to be himself, meaning if he can create. Garrett Wilson is on the verge of breaking out as one of the league’s top receivers, and Breece Hall will get it going. The defense is solid at NYJ. Taking the points.
2025 NFL 1 Pick: Jets +2.5
San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks
- When: Sunday, September 7th. 4:05 p.m. ET
- NFL Week 1 Odds: 49ers -137 / Seahawks +114
This is another line that’s difficult to understand. The San Francisco 49ers don’t have a receiving corps. So, unless the Hawks allow Purdy to throw to George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey all day, which they won’t, SF will struggle to score touchdowns.
The Seahawks are loaded on offense, with Sam Darnold calling the shots. Last season wasn’t a mirage. Darnold is a good quarterback. Taking the points is the way to go.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills
- When: Sunday, September 7th. 8:20 p.m. ET
- NFL Week 1 Odds: Ravens +100 / Bills -120
The quarterback duel should be thrilling, and Josh Allen does have home-field advantage. But the Ravens are due for a stunner, and the line has moved from the proverbial -3 on the home team down to -1.5.
There is a significant amount of cash or cryptocurrency flowing to Baltimore. Lamar and his mates get it done in NFL Week 1’s highlight game.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears
- When: Monday, September 8th. 8:20 p.m. ET
- NFL Week 1 Odds: Vikings -120 / Bears +100
The Vikings start a rookie quarterback in J.J. McCarthy. The problem McCarthy will face is that Jordan Addison is suspended, and Justin Jefferson is listed as questionable.
Also, McCarthy’s O-line isn’t as strong as Caleb Williams’ offensive line. The Bears are at home in this one, Williams gets to play in Ben Johnson’s offense, and the defense wasn’t bad last season. Chicago should have no trouble scoring a straight-up win.
