2025 AFC Super Bowl LX Betting Favorites

By Hank Blaine

The 2024 NFL Season saw plenty of surprises. However, one area where surprises were absent was when it came to top AFC teams against the spread. Not a single AFC squad from last season posted a better than 10-6-1 ATS record. The Baltimore Ravens, this year’s top pick based on odds to win the Super Bowl, were the team that went 10-6-1 versus the spread. Check out how the other top squads in the AFC fared ATS, versus the over-under total, and on the moneyline. Also, read about how these five squads should fare betting-wise in the 2025 NFL Regular Season.

Top AFC Teams to Win Super Bowl LX

Baltimore Ravens

  • Super Bowl LX Odds: +700
  • Moneyline: 12-5
  • Against the Spread: 10-6-1
  • Over/Under: 13-4

The obvious bankroll maker, or bankroll breaker, is the over-under. The Ravens went a scintillating 13-4. I write scintillatingly because Baltimore was the team that scored so many points; overs were a given.

We shouldn’t expect a similar insane 13-4 O/U record in 2025. Over-unders are often the tightest lines because oddsmakers get a great feel of how a game will play. Expect NFL oddsmakers to be on their toes when it comes to Ravens’ games.

The ML and ATS should align. Baltimore has a shot of losing no more than four games this season. An extra moneyline victory and a 9-8 or 10-7 ATS record are possible.

Buffalo Bills

  • Super Bowl LX Odds: +700
  • Moneyline: 13-4
  • Against the Spread: 10-7
  • Over/Under: 11-5-1

Buffalo is this year’s second favorite to win the Lombardi. Reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen and his mates are ready to take the next step, which means they beat the Ravens and the Chiefs and march to Levi’s Stadium for Super Bowl LX.

Buffalo’s records will be similar, save for the O/U total, which, like in Ravens games, failed to set a high enough bar for the over. Pay attention to that. Otherwise, handicapping with the assurance that lines on Buffalo games will be fair almost every time.

Kansas City Chiefs

  • Super Bowl LX Odds: +800
  • Moneyline: 15-2
  • Against the Spread: 8-9
  • Over/Under: 7-10

It should be impossible for the Chiefs to repeat the 15-2 moneyline from 2024. Three of KC’s first four games are against the Chargers, the Eagles, and the Ravens. What’s in KC’s favor is that all three games happen at Arrowhead Stadium.

Still, winning all three will be difficult. The spread line should end up 9-7 or 8-9 again, but could take a dip to 7-10 if sports bettors, like they have done the past few seasons, overplay the Chiefs to cover. The total should be similar as well because KC’s offensive line ranks twentieth, and Andy Reid may not have fixed the LT situation from last season.

Houston Texans

  • Super Bowl LX Odds: +3400
  • Moneyline: 10-7
  • Against the Spread: 7-8-2
  • Over/Under: 6-10-1

The Texans have a real shot of falling back on the moneyline, against the spread, and even on the over-under total. The problems, the only real issue, but it’s massive, start with the offensive line.

Laremy Tunsil and Shaq Mason no longer wear a Texans’ kit, which means Houston has rid itself of their two best O-line players. Tunsil was a star in the hopes of protecting a quarterback who took a huge backward step from his rookie season. If the Texans can’t protect C.J. Stroud, they’re in trouble. Joe Mixon is listed as out and may not be nearly as effective in 2025 as he was in 2024.

The Jags, Titans, and even Colts should be better this season. Jacksonville has enough talent to win the AFC South. The first five games are daunting: at the Rams, versus Tampa, at Jacksonville, versus Tennessee, at Baltimore. Betting against the Texans early could be the way to build the bankroll for the rest of the season.

Cincinnati Bengals

  • Super Bowl LX Odds: +2000
  • Moneyline: 9-8
  • Against the Spread: 10-7
  • Over/Under: 11-6

The moneyline was a dreadful 9-8, but check out the against-the-spread line, and it’s evident that when healthy, Cincinnati is one of the better teams in the AFC. But just because the Bengals are a good team, it doesn’t mean they have what it takes to improve upon the surprising ATS record.

Cincy’s problem is the same as Houston’s. For some reason, high-quality franchises with good coaches often struggle to acquire top offensive line talent. This is undoubtedly the case for Cincinnati, where Orlando Brown Jr. and Amarius Mims aren’t close to being the star tackles that teams like Buffalo, the Eagles, and the Broncos possess. Quarterbacks like Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, and even Lamar Jackson hide the fact that their teams don’t have great lines. But Burrow can’t dance in the pocket the way Mahomes and Lamar can.

The odds make Cincinnati an underdog to win the Super Bowl. Betting against the Bengal ATS in NFL Week 2 through NFL Week 5, when they take on Jacksonville, Minnesota, Denver, and Detroit, should lead to plenty of profit.
